Dot Dot is the instructional design and teacher training business of Marisa Vitiello. Marisa is an insatiable learner and a lifelong teacher. She derives a great deal of satisfaction from making information and systems clear, concise and user-friendly. She has worked with a wide array of clients, from arts institutions to schools and corporations. Here's what some of them say about her:

For over eight years Marisa played an instrumental role for Adobe Youth Voices, Adobe’s global initiative that inspired young people to create media on issues they cared about. As an Adobe Media Mentor, Marisa inspired young artists to explore a variety of genres with a sense of curiosity, playfulness and respect for the power of storytelling and visual design. She has a unique gift to see individual talents, needs, and approaches and to bring that focus to her broader curriculum design. She was often our “go to” consultant for innovative approaches to learning and exploring digital media, and wrote curriculum in graphic design, animation, and video that were incorporated into the Adobe Youth Voices global curriculum. Marisa has a special flare for collaborative art, which she brought to our global youth conferences, deftly teaching animation to youth with multiple languages and approaches to learning. In addition to creating curricula, Marisa mobilized Seattle’s youth media scene with care and enthusiasm, training hundreds of educators and youth in digital media, art, and storytelling. She has a fantastic work ethic, and a true love for inspiring artistic growth and learning.

Marisa is passionate about user experience. Working with her, she manages all the details, the tight deadlines and so much more. She has a way of taking a vague idea or concept and shaping it into something truly innovative. The care she puts into her relationship with me, as a client, as well as the care she puts into products she develops for my customers is unsurpassed. Marisa listens and understands my needs as well as those of my customers and it shows in each project she executes.

Working with Marisa changed the way our organization thinks about sharing information, adult education and curriculum development. She helped us take loads of information and turn it into a dynamic, interactive training program that we are excited to use and that is really working for our participants.

I worked with Marisa Vitiello on a massive conversion of a classroom curriculum from paper to an online download. The job was enormous—a school-year’s worth of lesson plans, audios, handouts, videos—all needing both design and tech savvy. Marisa did it all with style, grace, and good humor. Working with her was a pleasure, and the resulting product is stunningly fine.
